This book was definitely dark. If you're someone who thinks dark romance has a tendency to romanticize SA, you probably won't like this book.
It's also pretty graphically violent at times, which I knew about but don't like.
My rating isn't about those things though, since that's personal preference and I was aware of them going into the book.
I ended up disliking the writing and how the characters became progressively more annoying. Maybe it's my fault for reading way too many books, but all of these romance authors essentially write the same things over and over again and none of them are even doing a good job.
The last half/quarter of the book fell completely flat as well.
