Entangled
by Melissa Brayden
Listen, I am here for this Sapphic romance equivalent of cozy mysteries - with enough steam to keep my attention. Melissa Brayden is so delightful to read, with her world- and character-building that allows you to feel like you are stepping into the story. Tangle Valley is a character of its own and my goodness, how do I get a glass of the freakin' pinot already?! Becca and Joey were so fun to follow and realistic in their navigations of the same issue from different angles. I also, clearly, love Gabriella and Madison and The Cowboys and everyone else in this freaking setting because I am meant to. I need to be careful and not devour too many MB books at once for fear of getting worn out, but I am so glad to have found this treasure trove to return to again and again.
