I enjoyed this one, it was a slow unfurling adventure tinged with mystery- even if the twist was one you could see from a mile away, it was still enjoyable! It’s so hard not to like Cas and Lena, and their friendship and feelings grow. I like that some questions remain unanswered, but by the end of the book you feel like the characters have earned their rest. Not a cozy fantasy by any means, but also not a break neck paced adventure to save the world, which was refreshing!
