I feel like if you're going to have (even surface level) conversations about race, sexism, and intersectionality in your book you really shouldn't have Harry Potter references sprinkled in. Especially in the year 2022. 

The first ~50% of the book was pretty good but the last half was just so cringe. It just felt very white feminist which is incredibly disappointing coming from a Desi woman.
