While I really enjoy Regan as a character and it was nice to get more of her story, this was just so boring. The first book had some really cool elements like the podcast and the college campus itself, but this didn’t have any of that. This was such an insular, run-of-the-mill detective story that it was hard to be that invested. I’ll pick up other works by Allison Brennan though because I do really like her writing and concepts overall.
