Not a bad primer at all on AI for those who, like me, have no remotely relevant educational background. No doubt becoming a little dated, though that's hardly the author's fault, and maybe a little heavy on the post-xkcd quirky webcomic humour for my liking. But even the latter works pretty well in an account which touches enjoyably on some of the oddities of AI and the misconceptions to which it is subject.
