Inheritance by Christopher Paolini
4.0

The last book in the Inheritance cycle maintains and even raises the quality of writing had throughout the previous books. The fantasy world continues to expand, events continue to occur, and characters continue to develop- and I love it. There's none of the 'sequel fatigue' that other series I've read suffer from where they just coast down after the first one or two books- and that's probably due to the story being structured as a single unit, rather than sequel after sequel.

I'm glad that I re-read this book, and will most likely do so again in the future. The only real drawback to the book is simply how large it is, making it difficult to haul around everywhere one might go. There are a few nitpicks I would make on the writing style, but minor in comparison to the positives.

Four stars from me. Quality book, in content and execution. Would recommend to fantasy lovers, fans of dragon and magic, and those who enjoy reading 'finished' series.
