The Roughest Draft
by Emily Wibberley, Austin Siegemund-Broka
Ended up liking this book much more than I thought I would when I started it. The pace really picked up, and I found the flashbacks to be well timed. I was so glad to see Katrina’s strength continue to grow as I got further into the book. I was rooting for her the entire time.
The tension was real - you could feel it between Katrina and Nathan on each page. Also, loved Harriet’s one liners - they were such zingers.
The only reason this is 4 out of 5 stars is the pace at the beginning. It didn’t immediately suck me in, but once I hit chapter 11 (the chapters are very short), I was off to the races.
