This was really enjoyable. The horror elements were well done and I think it builds the suspense well and the payoff was well earned. I think that it could have fallen flat in a number of ways but I think that Jane and Augustine were so inherently loveable that it made it easy to root for them, regardless of what happened in the book.

I also really enjoyed the way that Caitlin created her magic system, the way it was explained, and the way we go through it with Jane.
