I Am Not a Serial Killer by Dan Wells

5.0

Well, this is another good book that I've read this year. It seems like I'm only reading good books, haha.
Anyway, this one started slowly for me as well. I read 150 pages in like five days and then the next 150 pages I read in a night.
It started out interesting, from the point of view of the sociopath John Wayne Cleaver. I liked his character and I felt sorry for him because all he actually wanted was to be normal, not just act like it.
There is a serial killer in the little town he is living in and John is fascinated by him.
Then there comes the point where he finds out who the killer is and it comes pretty early in the novel. That's when I thought that it wouldn't be that interesting anymore, but as I proceeded to read it got more and more interesting. And I liked it. I will now start reading the second book in the trilogy, Mr. Monster. I hope that this one turns out good as well.
