The Way We Fall by Megan Crewe

3.0

An interesting dystopian that was too real to my liking (every cough and sneeze at school was making me think "oh my gosh that person has the virus and they don't even know!"). The book was really interesting in the beginning but then started dragging and it was hard to finish the last 50 pages of it (I ended up reading some pages more than once).

I liked how the story was written like a journal (confusing at time when she used "you"), I think it would have been different if it was written in 1st person. I think that will appeal to students.

I thought the book ended and kind of wrapped up everything but I was surprised to find out it is a part of a trilogy. I'm a fan of cliffhangers and this did not have one at all!

This book reminded me of Life as we knew it by Susan Beth Pfeiffer.
