There was quite a bit to love about this book.
The characters are well done and I love how communicative the main pairing eventually become to each other as the book progress as Ada and Wes are strangers at the beginning so it was nice to feel a slower, calmer, narrative of strangers becoming more in comparison to some past reads.

I am liking the way Sage writes as this is me second foray I to her series and I am loving Wes, the softer and generous cowboy. He is a different male lead then I've read before and it's a nice change as he's not just softer but is shown to be kind and amiable. I really don't believe he has a mean bone in his body kind of vibe but which I feel helps draw out Ada.

Ada who has gone through a really tough situation and had to save herself and feels like in doing so, has hidden herself or maybe rolled up so tight that she's not sure how to let go or let people in.

I'm a sucker for a softer man falling in love and I feel like Sage did that really well here.
