This book irritated me so much but I wanted to know the answer so badly. Here is a play-by-play of my thoughts throughout this terrible story.
I can tell this is gonna be one of those stories where half the time I'm like "where are these kids' parents?!?!"
I'm writing this barely 20% into the book and like. It's gotta be Ravi right??? Ravi says the sleeping pills were their dad's and then goes on a tangent that Sal was such a perfect golden child bro come on he obviously hated his brother to death!! And then he is such a creep why is he 20 and flirting with Pip? a high school girl??? Why is this not raising any red flags??
Pip, by the way, is the most obnoxious, nosy little brat. I respect the premise of trying to get the true story but she went way too far many, many times. I strongly disliked her character and feel like it made NO SENSE why all these people just spewed their stories and secrets to her. She is not a likable person. (A great journalist though, I guess).
Also why do they use weird terminology I don't think people in connecticut call a line a "queue" or refer to calling someone as "ringing" them? Super annoying. **Okay I just found out this is originally a British book and I obviously read the US translation which is wild why did they do that**
And Max???? Bro why do you have a dead teenagers nudes please be serious right now ewwww 😭😭😭😭😭
50% in..this just keeps going off the rails more and more. In real life Pip would be murdered by now I swear
Okay from 50% onward I was hooked because there were so many twists! What!?!?!?! 😦
Ravi is still a fucking creep though!!!!!!!!!
