This is such a beautifully illustrated book useful for creating conversations about bees and why we need them. A child will be enthralled by the sunny illustrations (including a magnificent friendly-looking sun) with plenty of background details to delight and find.
It would have been easy to add more ethnic diversity in the neighborhood illustrations as I know diversity is reality in the UK just as in the States. I will look again but I'm not sure this book is a 'mirror' for everyone when it quite easily could be.
That said, it's lovely.
