Synopsis

As they are working on their respective plots, their worlds collide. By chance, he secretly encounters Addie and falls into an obsession. He stalks her, leaves her beautiful roses, he taunts her and he plays with her, like a cat with a mouse. Addie tries to fight back but she is intrigued.
This is a murder mystery, secret society takedown, and a dark, spicy love story rolled into one...which ends on a cliffhanger.
Review
This is definitely a dark romance, most scenes between the main characters are non/dubcon. The true villains are partaking in sickening rituals. Note the trigger warnings.
With that being said, believe the hype, this book is amazing. The spice is so spicy, lots of good girl, praise, possessiveness, touch her and die, and control. Zade doesn't have a morally grey background but he is morally grey anyway, and heroic, even if he's a stalker.
There are so many things going on at once with the two major plots. Zade is a delicious book boyfriend. He has his flaws but the love and devotion he has for Addie is top tier for a fictional man.
If you haven't not read the prequel, Satan's Affair, it goes into Sibby, who is briefly mentioned. That book is a wild ride and provides extra insight for a richer understanding of this book universe.
