Beautiful Venom
by Rina Kent
Ok this started so good for me. I honestly was thinking that this might shape up to be one of my favourite RK books. It felt fresh, I LOVED Dahlia and was such a simp for Kane. I enjoyed the whole secret society, b****** father and Dahlia trying to infiltrate and solve her sisters attack.
Then at some point I felt like I was being dragged at warp speed through the plot, with kidnapping, deaths and betrayal being rammed down my throat so fast I had indigestion. I felt a bit short changed in the end and wanted more build up and depth to these key plot moments.
Overall, after being disappointed in Kiss the Villain, I was so happy to be back in a Rinaverse.
