Lover at Last
by J.R. Ward
3.5 - 4 Stars
I, as many fans out there, was super excited to finally get my hands on the Qhuinn/Blay HEA. I was curious how Ward would go about working in a M/M novel into the series, while not upsetting fans of the usual F/M perspective. I am undecided as to how I feel about it, I enjoyed it for sure but it took me forever to finish - partially due to the length of the novel. It also felt heavily weighted down with side stories that one can only assume will be fleshed out into other novels. I am incredibly happy that this book was finally written - I just wish that it hadn't taken Q&B nearly 80 chapters to finally sort their shit out! I felt the epilogue was a bit cheesy and far too short to wrap up their whole story but I can't complain too much as I still love this series immensely.
