Oooof.
I almost did not finish this book after what happened about 60% of the way through, which made me roll my eyes so hard they almost got stuck in the back of my head. There was a brief moment around 85% of the way through where it got slightly interesting again, but it wasn’t enough to redeem it for anything more than two stars.
