The Best Of: The Path

1.
Very anticlimactic end of CHAOS, but I'm glad to see the Prophet go. I thought it would be more of a struggle though.

2. The fact that Bucky is the one to come pick up Natasha up. And this interaction: "You've been through a lot, Natasha. Are you sure you want to go back?" "Yes." "I could take you anywhere, you know. We could-- you could go away for a while. The world hasn't been kind to you and maybe you need to just--" "No, Bucky. I have to go back." "Thank you for coming for me." "Of course, Nat. You know I'm always here for you. And not just me." "I know, Bucky. I know."

3.
Natasha quit S.H.I.E.L.D. Oh my god! This scene broke my heart a bit. Maria's face was so sad and shocked.

4. Natasha and Isaiah's goodbye. I will admit that this is a very sad issue. Also, this conversation: "Do you think I would have been a good mother?" "What?" "Be honest. Everything is chaos. They were right about that. I might have chosen another path. I might have done something else." "...No one is as driven as you are. I think you would have been the best at whatever path you might have chosen. Or whatever path you might still choose. But that... that's not your path." "I know."

5. The banter between Captain America, Captain Marvel, and Hawkeye. I love this team of Avengers. Seeing Natasha in this dynamic is very interesting. And very sad.

6. "All alone. But not quite. I might have enjoyed company. But that would mean letting someone get close. And if I let someone get close... They might find out who I really I am. And no one will ever know my full story. No one."

7. I could have settled for the series ending here, but we do get two more issues so yay!
