I received this as an ARC from the author.
If you had told me I would need an Orc Motorcycle Club smut fantasy in my life I would have laughed...and yet here we are! I absolutely adored this! Some spoilers discussing tropes involved.
So first, the smut! It was incredible. I was quite turned on by all of the things in here except for one thing. There is pregnancy in this book that happened about 3/4 of the way through. Didn't care for that because that particular trope is not my thing. But if you like it, definitely check this out because it was handled very well. Other kinks/tropes listed below. The sex and passion was intoxicating and Axe is so dreamy!
Secondly, I was very impressed with the world building, lore, and language created in this book! It felt very immersive and thorough. I think as the series continues and things are fleshed out even more, it will be an interesting and complex world. Wasn't expecting it from this type of book honestly but I loved it!
Great overall, 4 out of 5 simply because of the pregnancy trope.
