an introspective read, but leaves a very unsatisfying experience otherwise. i finished the book with more questions than answers i wanted to know about. i wish there was a lot more clarity about the semantics of “disappearing” and that there was more focus on how memory can be used as a way to restrict and corrode the collective consciousness. it left me quite disappointed.
Graphic: Confinement
Moderate: Death, Infidelity, Toxic relationship, Police brutality, Grief
Minor: Sexual assault
