On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass
4.0

It's so interesting how our own traumas and lived experiences shape the biases we take into reading a novel. When I initially started this book, I felt disdained at the level of details about one of the affair(s) described in the novel (not a spoiler btw). It seriously made me want to stop reading the book because I was so put off.

But suddenly everything came together and helped me go from hating the plot to be captivated by it. This book was enticing to say the least. From the characters, to the subplot intertwining with the main plot. A very good read for sure. I read over half the book in one sitting.

The ending could be summed up as sweet justice served nicely.
