The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson

I am always excited to read Brandon Sanderson's work because he is a mercilessly creative world builder. He shapes and structures his novel's sense of place, and physics like a theoretical physicist. the world is whole and complete, relentless forces that cause one particle to drift towards another piece by piece until the sky is full of stars, or the same force allows a coin to grant the gift of flight. I would like to applaud the work he has done in all his books to build a world without cutting corners.
