I love Carys and Gavriel as a couple, but I feel like there could have been more exploration into their relationship, and themselves as individuals. I like the idea of seeing them in different time periods, but I'm a bit disappointed that it seems more like backdrops for them to experiment different sex positions in, rather than giving us more story about their search. It just seemed a bit....surface level. I will continue the series, and I hope to see more from this ongoing story, but perhaps a bit more narrative next time? I do love some good spice, I do, but this was a bit excessive, even for me, and I devour all a manner of sexy books.
