Honestly I could not stand Remo in the first book, but during the second the way he protected Kiara in the beginning earned him some brownie points. That being said I feel like he’s one of those characters that you mostly can’t stand, but end up rooting for his happy ending. He’s definitely one of the darkest MMC I’ve read and I liked that this book shinned a different light on him but didn’t stray from the crazy person he is. There definitely were some questionable things. I feel like part of me like Serafina also didn’t at the same time, I think she kind of felt wishy washy to me. But then again she was kidnapped. Idk I don’t really feel chemistry between them, it felt more so like lust. The ending felt dragged out.
