finally some good food, this book is underrated. I can give 5 stars solely for how much i enjoyed the magic concept and look at the beautiful book cover!! I love the relationship dynamics between julio and fleur, julio and amber, amber and jack, marie and julio and jack and chill, basically their group is so wholesome and love to me that i was sad when they parted. the concept and world building is unique enough to keep me interested and it’s inspiring how many things can happen in a world with their kind of magic. i also like how they had powers a little different from what u expect like summer-water and autumn-fire. tho i didn’t really feel as much interest for jack and fleur as i did for autumn and julio, jack and fleur really are protagonist worthy with their sacrifice and neutral overarching inner conflicts that make them so human. their balanced personality that considers fear and hesitance feels so raw and it’s seen in a lot of the other supporting characters as well through interaction and simple, subtle expressions and words. The ending was good too in a way that it just made sense and wasn’t out of the blue to satisfy the reader’s happiness
