All the time I was reading this, I was thinking that the readers who go on about show not tell would be having a field day with this book. Which is a shame as I enjoyed the premise of the book and it was an easy read.

Spoiler

The love interest was unnecessary and took away from the story. Also the ghost was a bit much with everything else going on.
