lufferdinks 's review for:
Hera
by Jennifer Saint
Massive TW for rape and sexual assault. It's not graphic but it's a very pervasive theme in nearly every other chapter.
I've always had a soft spot and a fascination with Hera, and I was excited to see Jennifer Saint's retelling.
The pacing does fill a little stilted, but overall, this story is a burning, festering feminine rage from start to finish; and makes no qualms about showing Zeus, Poisedon, and all the male gods we've come to know as exactly what they are: selfish men who take with zero repercussions.
