Graphic novels are a great way to illustrate Sanderson's universe. I sure hope this is part of the Cosmere.
White sands has great and appealing characters, the magic system is -of course- pretty cool and different, and, like every Sanderson's magic system, is governed by rules. The planet where this novel develops is beautiful too, it kind of reminds me of Tatooine, which I think is intentional.
