I liked this book, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever read. I think it definitely could have been better, and a lot of people say they sobbed. I was shocked at the way Mateo died . But I do like the authors note and his original draft notes. It reminds us that we don’t know when our last day is, and we should be living like it is, which is hard to do, but I definitely think it gives the reader something to think about.
