Soo, I saw this book recommended on TikTok and went in completely blind, expecting a cute sports romance, a basketball romcom. Yeah, that’s not what this is… This book is … dark. Very good, but not “cute romcom”. So going in blind on this one: 0/10 do not recommend that approach.
But the book is very good, very close to five stars for me. This is my first Kennedy Ryan book, but not the last. The writing is exquisite and poetic, including the spicy moments, which is a balance that is tough to pull off.
