Northwest Resistance by Katherena Vermette

3.0

This is a really emotional volume for Echo, as for the first time she is trying to alter history through her timetravelling dreams and dealing with the devastation of being unable to do so. There are also some interesting developments in terms of her connection to the history of her people, the Metís. The lack of clarity around her familial relationships is still frustrating to me, and that is still distracting me from other aspects of the story that I should be focusing on, but I'll probably pick up Volume 4 when it comes out because I do want to see more of Echo and though it's upsetting, it's important to learn this history.
