I didn't expect to love this book as much I did, but I shouldn't be so surprised. I absolutely adore the Defy the Night trilogy by Brigid, and this book has so many similar elements that made me love this just as much. Brigid is so talented at making relationships in her books so genuine. For this being her debut fantasy novel, I am so blown away. This series is going to be amazing, I already can't wait for the next one. Another beautiful book by Brigid!!
