A Cowboy Kind of Love by Donna Grant

4.0

Just love reading a true second-chance romance, even more when it is romantic suspense, and there are cowboys putting it over the top, excellent – but wait…. there is even more! Jack and Taryn have been separated for 5 years – their love was the truest ever found by both, but Taryn packed up and left with just a text to Jace – it is obvious they both still love each other 5 years later, so what is up?

Fortunately, Taryn, who is in serious trouble, had to return to Clearwater – Jace’s home turf – but it’s not to see Jace, going out of her way to avoid him at all costs - even though there is a half a million reasons not to. This story has it all. Intrigue, suspense along with some surprising twists and turns – and then there is the smoldering love and passion underlying it all. I was honestly surprised at some of the plot twists that played out, even beyond the hints mid-story. Could not put it down as the plot twists ran all the way to the end. A great sixth installment to the series, but this story stands on its own!
