Okay this was so freaking good. Going in, what did I think? Tentacle smut. What did I get? The most emotional, plot driven book, with such a loveable MMC and THE BEST SHARK-DOGGOPUS THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN.

I enjoyed this one from start to finish. Laughed a lot, cried even more, and found so much depth in both the MMC and the FMC.

At the early midway point of the book, I messaged the group chat and said “they better fall in love realistically”, and you know what?
Kidnapping to marriage? I believed every second of it.

Cindi’s story is so sad, but appreciated the way the Avina St. Graves made her cautious of everything. Didn’t write her as an easy settler for a handsome kraken with kinky tentacles, but instead put a lot of thought and reasoning behind her decision-making.

And Ordus. ORDUS. I just want to give him a big cuddle. But I won’t. Because he is Cindi’s and would probably kill me for touching what is hers. HEART. BROKEN. FOR THIS RUINED KRAKEN WHO THINKS HE ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH FOR ANYONE. PLS NO. YOU’RE SO GOOD.

Vasz. The fact that he got chapters made my day. His coconut romance was beautiful, and got a laugh out of me every time.
