arcadia197 's review for:
Aphorisms on Love and Hate
by Friedrich Nietzsche
I never had the urge to put so many comments to what I read as for this book.
The format of aphorisms is interesting and I guess you could take almost each one out and discuss or reflect on them.
However I have to make a remark on this weird version which is just an extraction from "human, all too human" from Nietzsche:
Bad: They are weirdly ordered and this book would do very well with a preface to explain that
Good: I hope I can lend it out to friends super easily to discuss on some of the aphorisms and it's small
The end contains some weird love and marriage stuff where woman is only seen in context to men. That was sad
