Living Hell by Catherine Jinks

4.0

A fast-paced sci-fi thriller in which author Jinks places a handful of survivors on a spaceship after a collision in space with a radiation wave makes suprising changes to the ship. To say more would spoil the plot and give away a terrific read. The main character has surprising depth and insight for a 17-year old narrator. Despite the rather grim plot line, the book is balanced and filled with enough hope and excitement that you aren't left feeling despondent. The clever premise really makes this book one of the better sci-fi books I've read lately.
