Definitely a wild ride! I thought the author did a terrific job pacing the two stories side by side, and not spoon feeding information — it felt like I was "discovering" it myself. Also, I appreciated that it seemed like the murders weren't exploited just to be graphic, but instead, were grappling with the nuance of being a person who (naively) might believe what they want to.
