The Mayan Prophecy by Steve Alten

1.0

I wanted to give this book 1.5 stars. I did not like the writing style, it was draggy, too many tangents and (specially the journal of Gabriel Sr.) the voice of the characters were superficial. This was by no means a page turner, and I had to force myself to finish the book.

The concept is quite good, but the way it is presented makes it very dry and boring. I am not saying that Dan Brown is the best out there, but he at least knows how to phrase a novel that addresses controversial issues and present it in a way that you are left with a "OMG".

Am not looking forward to reading the other two books, but I supposed I will have to.
