Synopsis: Solene Marchand is a 39 year old divorced art dealer who takes her 12 year old daughter to meet her idols, a British band, at a concert. There she meets one of the boy band members, Hayes Campbell who is 20 years old. The two have an instant connection and the story follows their relationship.
Review: I LOVED this book! It is sexy, genuine, honest and I’d describe it as a sophisticated romance. The writing style and the character development make this much more than your typical romance book.
I usually fall asleep within 5 min if I read in bed but with this book I could read for hours before going to bed. That’s how much I loved this book! This is so far one of the best books I’ve read this year. The hype is real!
The ending left me heartbroken. I need a sequel of this ASAP!! Please Robin Lee write it, I need more of Solene and Hayes.
I don’t think this book is for everyone (there are some steamy scenes) but if you like a well written romance that will make you feel something for this couple this is for you. This story explores some interesting topics like common stereotypes of women, sexism, motherhood and privacy.
