This book put me in a reading slump for the rest of the Bridgerton novels.
I liked the fact that this was especially distinct from the other stories, since Francesca has loved and been married before, but she was so incredibly ANNOYING the whole time that this was overshadowed. Michael realizing that taking the title wasn't an insult to John's memory was refreshing.
And the miscarriage/infertility plot? WHY couldn't we have an instance that showcases that there's more to a woman's life, indeed, more to love and family than having children?
