This was unnecessarily long. The majority of the book dragged and then suddenly wrapped up in the last 10%. It felt like not much was really happening and plot points were dropped. What about Varlett in the under realm? That feels like something that would go against their peaceful happy rest of eternity. I feel like I don’t even remember what happened in the rest of the book before their final battle and I just finished it. I think it would’ve been better to cut down on all the fluff and focus on the plot more.
