Characters: The main character is one you root for the whole time. Strong character development and a character who has seen some shit will always be a personal favorite. This book keeps you guessing as to who could be the culprit, and why.
Pace: The book is medium-paced, but with the velocity that I needed to know what happened next, I'd say it's borderline fast-paced. I don't typically read 300+ page books in a weekend, but this one was glued to me!
Plot: The plot is heavily driven by the main character's need for information and discovery. This definitely has a plot twist to it, so if you're looking for a twist, this is the one! There is not gore-y elements and it was a nice cozy mystery.
