Death with Interruptions
by José Saramago
This book got better once it focused on death and her story. Unfortunately, that comes very late in the novel. I think Saramago’s writing is beautiful but also hard to follow. His sense of sentence structure is very loose and well, it kinda bugged me. I think the premise of this book is very intriguing and I was excited to read this. And the ending is quite interesting and set up nicely. Unfortunately, so much of the book is just padding that doesn’t need to be there.
