Home Front
by Kristin Hannah
Absolutely gut wrenching, as is typical for Kristin Hannah. Cried so many real tears throughout. Perhaps felt more tragic than some of her others due to its setting in the more recent 2000s and the Iraq War. Felt too real; likely a challenging read for military families. As always, amazingly written with beautiful, believable character and relationship development throughout. Wow. Won’t forget this book for a long time.
