I do not think I have it in me to write a review of this book right now. I am emotionally wrecked by this story. It is so beautiful and funny and hopeful and tragic. I may come back and write more after I recover. For now I will say that, as an ally, I will "shout the battle cry" and hold space for the history of queer people. 4.5/5 stars
