“I was never the boss of you,” he replied softly. “Not really. If anything, it was the other way around. It still is.”

This is yet another book by the author that I have loved and I just feel so connected with all the characters in her stories because of the way she writes. In this case, I could relate with Lucy at a sub par level. I could understand her and I just wanted to protect her from the world. The treatment she went through initially in her office was so bad that it made me cry. I just loved her so much, she was amazing just the way she was and I'm glad that in the end, she did not change. Felix was likeable but in the middle, he lost his track and I kind of resented him but then his past also came up so I understood his side too. And I liked how he made up for the treatment he initially gave Lucy by taking care of her. Overall, this was a very enjoyable read with the right amount amount of romance and angst. I loved all the side characters especially Ollie, Lottie, Vicky & Mike and now I can't wait for the next book already!
