My favourite type of thrillers are the ones that focus heavily on the characters, all the better when the focus involves family dynamics. As you can imagine, I was really intrigued by the premise of this book
Thankfully, I was not disappointed! I really enjoyed the way this story unraveled and I felt any twists were well-earned and plausible (plausible as far as thrillers go, anyway)
I also really appreciated that the story ended on a positive note. It was exactly what I needed right now

Graphic: Drug abuse, Gun violence, Murder, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Child death, Grief
Minor: Sexual content
