I really wanted to like this one. The synopsis sounded fantastic. “Venture into the realm of the mysterious and macabre, with The Twisted Unearthly Lessons in Darkness, a heartwarming collection of supernatural and horror short stories that promise to both terrify and inspire.” What’s not to love about that? Well for starters…..this book. It really misses the mark for me. There was nothing mysterious, macabre or even slightly terrifying. Even the ONE story with potential “A Legend of Enthrals”, fell flat. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I’m nothing if not honest. Thank you all the same though to Voracious Readers Only for a complimentary copy.
