𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚'𝐬 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 by Samantha Chase is an entertaining vacation romance for Sebastian and Olivia that starts with a unique meet-cute on a plane, and moves through an awkward funeral situation, and a girls’ trip gone awry with a little fake dating thrown in for extra funsies! I was totally on board for their instant connection, and loved that Sebastian aka Ash immediately felt protective of her. There was banter, romance, and light-hearted moments, but there was also a surprising amount of pent-up emotion and drama that kind of welled up in the story. All of that made for more compelling characters and a well-rounded story! It definitely got my emotions involved and had me taking sides on certain things.😆 While I mostly focused on the swoon-worthy relationship forming between Ash and Liv, I couldn’t help but be curious about the other friends, and I sure would like to see Roxie get a story, too! All in all, this was a great summer read that goes pretty quickly! —★★★★
